Privacy Notice

This notice covers this website — what happens to the details you type into our demo-request form. It does not cover the OneBase platform itself. If you use OneBase as a developer, agent or buyer, the platform's own Privacy Policy, Terms of Service and Data Processing Agreement govern that relationship, and are shown to you inside the platform when you sign in.

1. Who is responsible

CBK Solutions Sdn. Bhd. (202501059995 (1661401-W)), a company incorporated in Malaysia, operates onebase.my and is the data user in respect of personal data collected through it under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010.

Reach us at info@cbksolutions.com.my for anything in this notice, including access, correction and deletion requests.

2. What we collect

Only what you choose to type into the demo-request form on this site:

  • Name — required
  • Company — required
  • Work email — required
  • Phone number — optional

Supplying these is entirely voluntary; you can browse the whole site without giving us anything. But the three required fields are necessary to answer a demo request — without them we have no way to reply.

When you press submit, the endpoint that receives your form also briefly sees your IP address, which it uses solely to limit how many submissions can come from one address per minute. It is held in memory for about sixty seconds and is never written to storage, never attached to your enquiry, and never passed on.

We do not buy contact lists, and we do not enrich or supplement what you give us with data from third-party sources.

3. Why we collect it

For one purpose: to contact you about the demo you asked for, and to discuss whether OneBase fits your projects. That is the whole of it. We do not build advertising profiles, we do not sell or rent personal data, and we will not add you to a mailing list you did not ask to join.

4. Where it goes

This website is a set of static files — there is no database behind it and nothing is stored on the site itself. Your submission travels:

  1. from your browser to a small handler run by our website infrastructure provider, which checks it and holds it only for the moment it takes to pass it on; then
  2. into our internal team messaging service, as a message to the people who handle demo requests.

From there it lives in that conversation, and in any email thread we start with you. It is seen by our own staff only. Apart from those two service providers, acting on our instructions, we do not disclose it to anyone — except where we are required to by law.

5. Transfers outside Malaysia

Both of those providers operate infrastructure outside Malaysia — including in Singapore and the European Union — so your details are processed and stored outside the country. We engage them under their standard terms and data protection commitments, and take reasonable steps to satisfy ourselves that the protection given is comparable to that required under Malaysian law.

If you would like to know exactly which providers these are, ask us and we will tell you.

6. How long we keep it

For as long as we are actively in conversation with you, and for up to 24 months after our last contact — long enough that a follow-up the next launch cycle still makes sense. After that it is deleted. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time, and we will.

7. Cookies and browser storage

This site sets no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. There is no third-party tracker on it.

Either way it keeps two small values in your browser's own local storage, purely so the site behaves sensibly on a second visit:

  • onebase:cookie-consent — remembers that you have already dismissed the notice, so you are not asked again on every page
  • ob-loaded — remembers that you have seen the opening animation, so it does not replay

Neither identifies you, neither leaves your device, and clearing your browser data removes both. If we ever introduce analytics or any other non-essential tracking, we will update this notice and ask for your consent before it runs — not after.

8. Your rights

Under the PDPA you may ask us to give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong or out of date, delete it, or stop using it to contact you. Email info@cbksolutions.com.my and we will respond within the statutory period. There is no charge, and you do not need to give a reason to be removed.

9. Changes to this notice

If what this site does with personal data changes, we will change this page and move the effective date at the top. The version shown here is always the current one.
